Daisy Chain Studio is a 5 person studio in Hoxton London specialising in design and motion. For a small studio we provide a wide range of output, from 2D motion design to 3D films. Our clients range from tech companies such as Apple and Google, sports brands such as Nike and On Running, and cultural clients such as A24, Warp Records, and Barbican. We spend most of our week in the studio together, working hours 9.30am–6pm Monday-Friday.

We’re looking for a full-time Project Manager to manage the production of beautiful, crafted motion.

In this role you will:

  • Work directly with the two Creative Directors to make key decisions in project management
  • Work alongside our designers to manage time and provide a clear schedule across all projects
  • Communicate with prospective clients to build a budget, timeline and scope
  • Manage day to day resourcing of individuals in the studio
  • ​​Manage client and freelance contracts
  • Work with Xero accountancy software for invoicing and bills payments
  • Updating Google Sheets for quarterly finance reviews
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients, managing communication, processing feedback and creative notes, delivering updates
  • Negotiate budgets and rates
  • Create detailed scopes of work that includes timelines and deliverables
  • Engage with the process of updating company targets
  • Run review sessions at the end of each project
  • Fulfil any extra resourcing needs by reaching out to freelance support, both with existing relationships and assisting in searching for new talent

Requirements:

  • Good fit with the team! <3
  • 3+ years of project management experience in the design or motion industry
  • Proficiency with Google sheets, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace and Xero
  • Experience reaching out to collaborators and freelancers
  • Familiarity with the typical motion design project process
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Experience with financial tracking; both project to project and wider company finances
  • Keen eye for any final pass of quality control and checking of assets
  • Willing to work in person our studio in Hoxton, London for most of the week
