Job Description

In a nutshell:

  • We are in search of a Social Content & Strategy Lead to join Chapel as a permanent member of staff, working collaboratively to concept, plan, craft and edit written content. You must be able to tailor your writing for social media platforms, digital and print maintaining an eye for detail and a high level of creativity at all times.

What the role entails:

  • Developing written content (social copy, article, video script keynote and website)
  • Editing existing copy to improve readability and suitability
  • Proofreading copy for errors and inconsistencies
  • Ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Handling naming and headline ideation, through to creation
  • Writing and presenting concept rationales in/externally
  • Collaborating and leading our other writers to marry copy with visuals
  • Conducting relevant research to inform content production
  • Creating content plans around audience profiles and behaviours
  • Managing Chapel’s website and social platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)

Now-and-then responsibilities:

  • Writing and leading interviews to support content creation
  • Supporting Chapel’s creative recognition e.g., award entries

Your experience and knowledge:

  • Around 2-5 years of agency experience
  • Expertise across short and long form copy
  • Advertising and thought-leadership know-how
