spacelab_ is excited to offer complementary design services to our clients. We are seeking a highly creative and driven Graphic Designer with experience in environmental branding and a strong understanding of the fundamentals of copywriting to join our growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working alongside our Directors and design team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative graphic design solutions for both internal initiatives and prestigious client projects. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a growing area of the business, developing creative concepts that enhance branded environments, support our marketing activities, and strengthen our clients' visual identities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop creative graphic design concepts in collaboration with the Lead Interior Designer, Architects and Directors.
  • Facilitate client workshops to develop project briefs, present concepts and refine design proposals.
  • Generate, develop and implement innovative graphic design solutions from concept through to completion.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers throughout the design and delivery process.
  • Direct and oversee the implementation of graphic design elements on site, ensuring quality and consistency through to project completion.
  • Collaborate with the wider design team, providing creative input and support across multidisciplinary projects.
  • Contribute strategically to the company's marketing function, helping to develop and deliver studio-wide marketing initiatives.
  • Create and curate project case studies, press releases, award submissions and other promotional content.
  • Manage and update the company website and social media platforms, ensuring content remains engaging and current.
  • Design and produce digital brochures, presentations, e-flyers and other marketing collateral.
  • Contribute to the preparation and design of tender submissions, bid documents and client presentations.
  • Ensure all work reflects the company's brand identity and maintains a consistently high standard of design.

Requirements

  • Graphic Designer degree
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience
  • Branding for the built environment experience advantageous
  • Good time management skills to meet multiple deadlines
  • Knowledge of finishes, materials, packages and details
  • Commercially minded and able to coordinate designs with other consultants
  • Confident to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A good knowledge and experience of social media channels
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
  • Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite
