Job Description

We are an award-winning, industry-leading team looking for a Motion Graphics Designer who is passionate, talented and ambitious to join our London studio. Our studio creates memorable and attention-grabbing graphics for the TV/film industry.

You will be responsible for creating industry-leading graphics for trailers, TV Spots, digital outdoor, socials, and opening title sequences. Working on multiple projects simultaneously, you will be collaborative, strive to seek out original ideas, be ambitious and have the discipline to cope with fast turnarounds and hard deadlines.

You will be an established designer with 5 years + of experience in the film, entertainment or advertising industries. Other relevant design experience will be considered but a passion for Film and TV design is essential.

Please note, that this role is based on-site in our London office.

KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Creating Industry-leading motion graphics across a variety of short-form advertising materials
  • Interpreting and responding to client briefs
  • Putting together mood boards and references
  • Bringing fresh ideas and conceptual thinking to creative meetings
  • Collect and share excellent creative references, staying on top of industry trends
  • Working directly with editors­­­­ to help shape select projects and integrate graphics into cuts.
  • Working with Head of Creative Strategy to concept and realise Socials
  • Problem-solving and coming up with creative solutions
  • Working to deadlines and communicating with producers regarding timelines
  • Keeping up to date with design trends and developing and learning new skills and software

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong organisation skills along with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of Typography and Graphic Design
  • Excellent skills in After Effects
  • Cinema 4D
  • Tracking, rotoscoping and composting
  • Excellent time management with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and keep a level head under pressure in a reactive environment with quick turnaround times
  • Collaborative with the ability to work well as part of a team and create strong working relationships
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior designers
  • A proactive, flexible and adaptable approach
  • Focused and self-motivated

DESIRABLE

  • Other Creative Cloud applications (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HDR delivery process
  • Mocha
