Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a Team Assistant/Receptionist who would be responsible for the smooth running of the front of house of our London studio and support the studio manager in day-to-day tasks. The HudsonBec Group is made up of four companies – It’s Nice That, Anyways Creative, Creative Lives in Progress and If You Could Jobs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the front desk, being the first point of contact for all clients, collaborators and visitors (in person and on the phone)
  • Organising deliveries and post to and from the studio
  • Ensuring a safe, tidy and efficient working environment
  • Replenishing kitchen and stationery supplies
  • Provide flexible support for the teams
  • Support the Studio Manager with tasks such as administration of studio equipment, setting up new starters and freelancers computer equipment, dealing with ad hoc IT queries, maintaining studio organisation and storage, assist with studio events and activities, etc….
  • Support the HR Manager with ad hoc tasks such as organising interviews and recruitment administration
  • Support with any other ad-hoc duties outlined by your manager

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working as front of house in any number of settings (e.g. office, retail, hospitality, museum etc.)
  • Be creative in finding solutions
  • Be Proactive
  • Excellent organisational and self-management skills
  • Must enjoy working with people
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • A can do attitude
  • Being assertive
  • Experience of providing support in a hybrid work environment would be a bonus but not essential
  • An interest in the creative industry would be a bonus but not essential

Details

  • Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am — 5pm (please note that due to the studio nature of this role flexible/hybrid working is not an option)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: 37-39 Kingsway, London, WC2B 6TP. This role is based within the studio.
