Job Description

Midnight is a London-based web development studio that partners with design and branding teams to build thoughtful, high-end websites and web apps. We work closely with creative studios who care deeply about craft, clarity, and outcomes. We help them bring ambitious ideas to life technically.

We’re looking for a marketing lead who understands how an agency business grows. Someone who can spot opportunities, test ideas, and turn insight into action. This is a hands-on role for a problem solver who enjoys figuring things out, testing ideas, and moving fast on opportunities.

The role

You’ll be responsible for shaping and executing Midnight’s marketing efforts, with a focus on attracting the right partners and opportunities.

This is not about posting and hoping, it’s about understanding our positioning, our audience, and where smart, consistent marketing can work over time. You will have a lot of autonomy and a lot of responsibility.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing and executing a clear marketing strategy for our agency business
  • Identifying where opportunities exist such as partnerships, content, platforms, outbound, and inbound and deciding what’s worth pursuing
  • Creating and overseeing content that reflects Midnight’s point of view, tone-of-voice and quality bar
  • Using AI tools (and knowing when to use them) to scale output and improve efficiency while keeping quality high
  • Acting as an orchestrator of tools, systems, and workflows rather than doing everything manually
  • Working closely with founders and designers to ensure messaging, visuals, and tone feel cohesive
  • Continuously testing, learning, and refining what works

What we’re looking for

  • Experience marketing an agency, studio, or service-based business
  • A strong sense of judgement about what’s worth doing and what isn’t
  • Comfort using AI tools as part of your everyday workflow and curiosity about what’s next
  • A good design eye and confidence working with design tools
  • Strong writing skills and a natural feel for language and tone
  • Someone proactive, self-directed, and comfortable making decisions
  • A practical mindset. You care about outcomes, not just activity
