Job Description

This role is essential to that transition and will play a key part in driving our ambitions for the brand. Working with the Conceptual Designer and Head of Global Creative, you will help visualise and evolve the creative vision for the brand and will implement this vision with disruptive and compelling designs. You will be bold in your ambition to create cultural as well as commercial impact, and you will have a passion for the desires & aspirations of our core target audience of Young Ethically Engaged Women.

You’ll bring your concepts to life by collaborating with our talented team of creatives, writers, fellow designers and producers.

Key Accountabilities

Your primary role will be the development of distinctive designs, that’s bring to life The Body Shop’s extensive product range and change-making brand credentials across our retail estate.

Your work will be broad and varied. Some outputs will form part of wider marketing campaigns, some may be purely for POS retail materials.

The work you develop needs to be globally relevant and capable of being adapted, amplified and activated within 70+ markets individual markets. You will need to show cultural openness and flexibility to work in this global environment.

Each campaign will be delivered as a creative toolkit, containing both ready-to-use executions and assets for adaptation, complete with appropriate guidance.

Experience

Experience as mid-weight designer, conceiving and crafting impactful visual creative for physical spaces such as retail or exhibition design

A track record of delivering bold, differentiating work

Experience of working in a fast-moving creative environment that delivers consistently high-quality creative output

A proven record of crafting creative toolkits with visual assets that can be adapted, cropped and edited for multiple formats

Experience of working cross culturally and in a global environment

Evidence of experience working for retail brands, specific Beauty industry experience not essential

Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Graphic Design or Design Communications is advantageous but not essential self-taught also welcome with strong portfolio
