Job Description

48.1% of people voted to remain.

The majority didn’t.

It was a statement at odds with what we stood for – that diversity, inclusivity and collaboration results in something more powerful, more meaningful, more effective.

Something better.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a motion design to join our team. Someone with a genuine passion for the craft, a knack for timing and ambition to keep developing with their peers. Every project in our studio is different which suites someone with a broad range of styles and no comfort zone. Motion projects can be part of larger design projects so we are looking for someone who is happy to work as part of a team and understands the fundamentals of design.

What you will be working on

We do not have a house style, nor a house medium. We use motion when motion is the right answer for a job, rather than ‘because we can’. We like to use different styles of animation to best serve the idea behind the project. Anything from 2d type animation to full production live action from a square on a commuters feed to cinema screens.

Role requirements

  • Strong design background.
  • High level of capability in After Effects
  • Understanding of editing software
  • Thorough understanding of the production process
  • Passion for typography
  • A genuine passion for experimentation
  • Good timing

As a member of the team

We are looking for a motion designer with strong communication skills, someone with the ability to get stuck into a brief, understand it from both the client and the studios point of view and answer it creatively, on time. We are looking for someone who is able to work between multiple projects at once, managing their own time efficiently whilst working with producers and directors to create motion tests, storyboards, proposals and pitches for future projects. We are looking for someone who builds comps thoughtfully, whilst acting as part of a team allowing others to support. Someone who is aware of timings, workflows and ready to get involved running projects smoothly.
