The Junior Producer will work in a busy agency providing production support primarily to East Photographic’s roster of photographers and set designers (noting however that there is opportunity to produce for independent off-roster artists too.) The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years experience working within a production department as either a Junior Producer or Production Assistant ready to move up to the next level. The role will be focused towards producing editorial, smaller fashion and commercial productions.

In addition to this, the Junior Producer will support the Producers on larger commercial advertising projects. There is also scope to help with digital promotion and marketing to aid the business development of artProduction.

Experience of producing motion would be a plus as would a UK driving licence.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:

- Editorial production

⁃ On set production

⁃ Booking and managing photo / styling / HMU teams inc negotiating fees

⁃ Building production budgets, controlling costs, reconciling productions and preparing final invoices

⁃ Obtaining quotes from contractors and vendors, commissioning and overseeing work, checking and approving invoices

⁃ Overseeing casting

⁃ Management of post production

⁃ Proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks

⁃ Satisfying the needs (sometimes conflicting) of both clients and artists

⁃ Juggling conflicting options and artists schedules

⁃ Interviewing new crew and teams to expand the pool of artistic collaborators available for future productions

You will be a part of a growing team of 5 UK and 4 US agents, and 3 UK and 2 US producers. You will be pushed to learn and develop in a supportive and nurturing office culture where initiative and independent thinking is welcome.

As the position is based in the London office it is open only to people who have the right to work in the UK. artProduction is committed to diversity and inclusion and encourages applications from any and all qualified candidates.

Salary will be based on skills & experience.

The person reviewing CVs is OOO until 28th May 2024.
