The role

As an Account Manager, you’ll own client relationships and manage projects from start to finish. You’ll deliver high-quality work, support business growth, and collaborate with teams to meet client goals, all while continuously developing your skills and contributing to the studio’s success.

Key responsibilities

— Client Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for your clients, delivering exceptional service and nurturing strong, ongoing relationships. Take responsibility for providing regular updates and staying in tune with their needs and business landscape.

— Managing Projects: Take ownership of projects from start to finish, overseeing end-to-end delivery. Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the client’s scope, while maintaining high-quality output that meets their expectations.

— Resource and Time Management: Collaborate with internal teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring efficient project management and timely delivery. Prioritise projects and tasks, adjusting schedules as necessary to optimise project flow.

— Client Development: Identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts and collaborate with the Account Director and Client Services Director to nurture these opportunities, ensuring added value for clients.

— Problem-Solving: Act as the primary problem solver for any project-related challenges, implementing solutions swiftly to keep projects on track, and seeking support when necessary.

— Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Oversee invoicing and payments, ensuring all financial aspects are accurate and up to date.

— Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team, strategy & production partners, and client teams to ensure alignment at every stage of the project.Maintain clear communication and ensure clarity on agendas, next steps, and expectations.

— Proposal and Pitch Support: Take the lead on smaller proposals for new and existing client projects with support from the CS team. Contribute to larger pitches by providing valuable insights and supporting the preparation of presentations.

— Studio Administration: Support the day-to-day running of the studio, maintaining well-organised project and studio administration. Following processes and filing protocols diligently to ensure smooth operations.

— PR Support: Assist with the coordination and execution of PR activities, including press releases, newsletters, creds, and awards, in collaboration with the CS and design teams.

Key requirements    

•   3-5 years of experience in client management (essential that this is in a creative, branding, or design agency)

•   Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and deliver successful projects.

•   Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

•   Ability to manage project budgets and financial systems.

•   Good understanding of creative processes and design principles.

•   Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members.

•   A natural team player, willing to support across all areas of the business when needed.

Details

•   9:30 - 6pm working hours with 1 hour for lunch.

•   Hybrid working arrangement: Mon - Wed in the studio, Thur - Fri optional work from home

•   Team lunch on the last Friday of every month.

•   20 days holiday, plus 1 extra day per year of service up to 5 years.

•   Studio closure between Christmas and New Year, in addition to holiday allowance.

•   Christmas, summer and ad-hoc social events.

•   Cycle-to-work scheme.
