About us

Navigator is a creative and marketing partner for ambitious luxury travel and lifestyle brands. We are expert storytellers who define and amplify brands, using data-driven insights to inform everything we do, from websites, SEO and paid, to copywriting, socials and print magazines.

About you

We are seeking a Content Strategist who combines strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You thrive in a fast-paced agency environment and are confident planning, creating and managing social and digital content across multiple luxury and lifestyle brands.

You understand how to translate brand strategy, performance insights and campaign objectives into engaging, platform-native content that delivers results. Highly organised and detail oriented, you are comfortable managing multiple clients, calendars and deadlines while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and consistency.

You are a collaborative communicator who enjoys working closely with others, ensuring content aligns with brand tone, storytelling and commercial goals. Curious, proactive and culturally aware, you stay on top of social trends and best practices, using insight and creativity to continually evolve content strategies.

The role

As a Content Strategist, you will be responsible for planning, creating and managing content across a portfolio of luxury clients. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will deliver best-in-class social and digital content that is on-brand, on-strategy and optimised for performance.

You will own the end-to-end content process – from planning content calendars and briefing creative teams to writing captions, scheduling posts and monitoring performance. Alongside client work, you will also support the planning and execution of Navigator’s own social channels and communications.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisational skills, creative flair and confidence working with data, AI and insights to inform ongoing optimisation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content strategy, social media management or content creation, ideally within an agency or luxury/lifestyle brand
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, trends and best practices
  • Confident working with performance data and translating insights into actionable content ideas
  • Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for tone, detail and storytelling
  • Experience planning and managing multiple social content calendars
  • Ability to source, edit and adapt assets across platforms
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple clients and deadlines
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams
  • A passion for luxury brands and delivering excellence at every touchpoint.

Key responsibilities

Strategy & planning

  • Plan and manage assigned clients’ social content calendars in line with overarching brand and campaign strategies
  • Work closely with the Performance team to interpret insights and data, using learnings to inform future content planning
  • Liaise with the Editorial team to ensure content reflects each client’s tone of voice, style and storytelling approach
  • Assist with research and ideation for client story strategies where required
  • Planning and execution of the agency’s own social channels and communications in collaboration with relevant teams.

Client & stakeholder liaison

  • Work closely with Client Engagement and liaise with clients as appropriate, ensuring clear communication and smooth delivery
  • Create clear briefs and requirements lists for the Design team to support content creation.

Content creation & execution

  • Source assets from client brand libraries and relevant stock platforms as needed
  • Liaise with associated PR agencies to source relevant assets
  • Manage cropping and editing tasks (experience editing short-form video is an advantage)
  • Write engaging, on-brand captions tailored to each platform
  • Assist with newsletters and blog content where relevant
  • Schedule posts across relevant social channels
  • Support influencer management where required, including coordination and content tracking.

Community & channel management

  • Manage community engagement by replying to comments and messages, and reposting story mentions
  • Ensure brand voice and tone are consistently upheld across all interactions.

Reporting & performance

  • Monitor content performance across channels
  • Document results and insights clearly
  • Create regular reports for clients, highlighting performance, learnings and recommendations.

What we offer

  • A role with the opportunity to shape the creative output for world-leading luxury and hospitality brands
  • A dynamic and collaborative work environment
  • Hybrid working model, with a minimum of three days a week in our central London office
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • The opportunity to work on thought leadership initiatives and elevate Navigator's brand presence across digital channels
