Job Description
ZEALOT is a global creative agency with offices in London, New York, and Los Angeles, specialising in the film and television industry. We create trailers, TV spots, digital/social campaigns, promos, and striking key art for some of the world’s biggest names in entertainment.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Print Producer to join our growing and vibrant team. This is a pivotal role at the heart of our print department, responsible not just for project management, but for driving creative output, growing our client base, and developing the agency’s reputation through new talent and new business.
As Senior Print Producer, you’ll take the lead on managing high-profile design and key art projects across print, digital, and out-of-home platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with Creative Directors and our senior leadership team, acting as a key partner in shaping creative strategies, managing project pipelines, and expanding our network of clients and collaborators.
You will play an instrumental role in growing the business - identifying opportunities, winning new clients, and helping generate and shape creative briefs. With a sharp eye on emerging trends and industry opportunities, you’ll help steer projects toward standout, award-winning creative work. You’ll also be the go-to person for sourcing best-in-class creative talent, ensuring that our network remains as dynamic and diverse as the work we produce.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with and support senior leads to ensure projects run smoothly and maintain high-quality work.
- Develop, grow and maintain strong client relationships. Proactively seeking new projects and constantly looking to improve the client experience.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including leading on project pitches, spotting gaps in the market, and building relationships through networking, events, client hospitality - leveraging existing relationships to bring new opportunities into ZEALOT.
- Partner closely with Creative Directors to generate work and convert ideas into tangible creative opportunities.
- Oversee projects from brief to final delivery, liaising with clients at every stage.
- Create briefings and source all the materials and resources needed for project kick-off.
- Ensure a balanced workload for the print team, fostering creativity and high morale.
- Provide growth opportunities for junior team members, empowering them to create great work.
- Confidently defend and advocate for the team's creative vision.
- Coordinate internal resources, working with the Director of Operations to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Create and manage budgets, meet profit targets, and maintain timely billing. Handle external facilities booking, purchase orders, and invoicing.
- Safely manage secure client content, documenting and archiving projects upon completion.
- Organise internal reviews for all design rounds, collaborating with Creative Directors to ensure projects/assets are on brief and completed to a high standard.
- Keep assets and projects highly organised and streamlined in line with the team’s and company’s established processes and standards.
- Be ultimately responsible for all client deliveries, making sure the print team is delivering projects to the right specifications.
- Build and maintain an extensive and evolving network of creative talent: including designers, photographers, illustrators, retouchers, and sketch artists - and source the right talent for each brief.
- Keep up to date with new and emerging talent, fostering relationships with freelancers and collaborators to ensure ZEALOT stays connected to the industry’s best and brightest.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a great interest, curiosity and understanding of design, especially key art.
- Be passionate about the Film and TV industry.
- Bring strong existing client relationships and a proven ability to convert these into ongoing business for the agency.
- Possess excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask across a variety of complex assets, projects and campaigns.
- Be collaborative and always one step ahead with every project.
- Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills - able to manage the print team as well as freelancers.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to problem-solve quickly.
- Have a strong understanding of the tools and design process across all stages of production.
- Be focused, proactive and self-motivated.
- Be capable of understanding strategy and creatively interpreting client briefs, to develop world-class creative solutions.
- Bring a commercial mindset and proven experience in identifying and developing new client opportunities.
- Have experience supporting or leading pitches and new business initiatives — from sourcing leads to networking, and building long-term client relationships.
- Be confident working closely with senior creative leads, helping them stay focused and resourced while driving forward creative ideas.
- Come with a strong and active network of talent — and the instincts to find and develop new creative collaborators as the industry evolves.
- For the right candidate, this is an amazing opportunity to progress and flourish in their career - joining a new and thriving department. As the team is still in its early stages, there’s real scope to help shape its direction, influence how it grows, and play a key role in building something from the ground up.
