In a nutshell:

Chapel is a Content & Creative Agency, which also encompasses illustration agency The Different Folk, and Animation, Motion and CGI studio Good Souls. Collectively we work with some of the world's biggest brands. Over the past year we have grown significantly and we require assistance in the day-to-day running of the studio. We are looking for a Studio Manager with previous experience who will be able to establish and implement new systems and procedures which ensure all team members have what they need and we maintain the best possible working environment and culture. We are open to Full / Part Time.

The role:

• Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the studio

• Establish and implement new systems and procedures

• Support enquiries from external bookkeepers and accountants

• Responsible for organising all team trips, outings and parties

• Organising/having an overview of the company diary, meetings and travel

• Supporting with freelance bookings and the intern scheme

• Maintaining and organising company leave tracker (holiday/sickness etc.)

• Managing Expense claim sheets

• Chasing clients for paperwork (contracts, SOWs etc.)

• HR administration: Staff development, appraisal arrangements, office events, visa sponsorship, maintaining office policies, inductions for new staff and managing all personnel records including on and off-boarding of employees, payroll management, contracts, benefits, and supporting recruitment.

• Company renewals, membership subscriptions, ordering office supplies/equipment

• Replying to emails and enquiries alongside the Owner, Accounts Director, Managing Agent & Producer

• Arranging deliveries, couriers etc.

• Working alongside our Managing Agents and Producers to ensure the smooth running of projects, payments and schedules

• Finance administration: Reconciling all accounts, invoice payments, maintaining client payments and expense records, employee expenses, managing all stages of sales invoicing, payroll and liaison with the company accountants regarding VAT returns and pensions

People we love to work with:

• Have previous experience working as a Studio Manager, ideally in a creative environment

• HR experience would be a plus!

• Have excellent attention to detail, and have exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills

• Are methodical and proactive when it comes to their role

• Are confident with numerical and administrative tasks

• Have a familiarity with financial and legal obligations

• Know how to multi-task within a fast-moving environment

• Show initiative and decisiveness under pressure

• Are highly adaptable when faced with challenging situations

• Have a natural ‘can do’ attitude and dedication.

• Fluency in G Suite, Microsoft, Monday (or similar) & Xero (or other bookkeeping software).
