Consumer PR Manager (FTC)
Job Description
The UK is a nation of property obsessives and this is an opportunity to join the company’s Communications team as it reimagines - and reshapes - the way people find, buy, sell and rent a property.
Zoopla is looking for a best in class Consumer PR Manager who will lead all consumer-facing media relations for this much-loved brand - on a 12 month fixed term basis. At Zoopla ‘We know what a home is really worth’ and our ambition is positioning the company at the heart of national conversation about the homes we live in, while supporting its ambition to be the UK’s number one destination for buyers and sellers alike.
The successful candidate is at ease with delivering targeted, contemporary and cross-functional campaigns with tangible and measurable impact. These campaigns will naturally dovetail with Zoopla’s social media output, amplifying its strong brand and increasing awareness and preference among consumers.
Summary of role
The role will support Zoopla’s efforts to cement itself as the essential property portal and partner of choice for home-hunters at all stages in their property journey (first-time buyers, upsizers, downsizers and more) and those looking to put their properties on the market. You will be required to support the business and in particular all aspects of the broader marketing mix by developing and executing highly visible, engaging news stories, as well as meaningful campaigns that deliver impact across national, broadcast and regional media.
The role involves working with the company’s existing Communications team, alongside the company's Consumer Marketing team, driving targeted impact for Zoopla’s core audience. Alongside this, you will work closely with teams across Zoopla including Content, Product Marketing and Brand Marketing, all of which comprise expert strategists, creatives and designers.
Alongside the internal stakeholders, you will be required to work cross-functionally across Zoopla’s agency bench as we uphold and curate the company’s reputation as a trusted brand for homemovers, agents and developers and as an exciting, dynamic company operating within the technology sector.
