The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in an incredibly versatile and passionate design team. Working on large well-known brands as well as smaller, highly creative projects, the successful applicant will get to become a lead designer on projects, making key decisions on UX, UI, design and animation through to presentation and implementation.

As a new member of the team, it is important that the successful applicant is outgoing with a strong work ethic, pro-active and reliable with good attention to detail and a passion for graphic design, both online and offline.

Requirements and responsibilities:

• Must have great knowledge and passion for user experience, trends and new technology (preferably a good understanding of information architecture, including wireframing, site-mapping and prototyping).

• Must have great knowledge of Figma, Adobe Suite and/or similar digital design platforms.

• Ideally has experience of how to incorporate animation into digital designs across video, web and social through programmes such as Aftereffects.

• Ideally has experience in non-digital design as well, including branding, layout design and general asset creation.

• Must live in commutable distance to our office in Farringdon/Clerkenwell.

• Must be able to communicate ideas clearly in good English. (The reason for this is that we allow our designers direct access to client presentations to speak through their ideas)

What you can expect:

• Opportunity – to make the role your own and work on a company wide range of projects and clients.

• Input – your ideas will be heard – on projects, on ambitions, on Hatched.

• Beautiful office environment – based in Exmouth mark in a top-floor office with stunning views.

• 23days + Xmas break – for holiday allowance per year, with that growing based on your tenure.

• Amazing team – work with an incredibly versatile, committed and lovely team of people.

• 4 vs 1 office versus WFH days – Whilst we have a flexible WFH policy we believe our best team work and individual development happens when we’re all together.

• Community support days – If you’re working on a community project you can have the day to do it with no impact on your holiday allowance.
