Job Title: Researcher

Hours: Three days a week, flexible shift patterns

Location: CC Co. 410, The Archives, Tottenham, N15 4BE

Salary: Dependent on experience

CC Co. (Crack Creative Company) is a full-service creative organisation built by the team behind Crack Magazine. Since launching in 2021, we’ve created work for some of the best brands in the world. Highlights include broadcasting from the Berlin marathon for Nike, creating a new talk show for ITV, rewarding top Spotify listeners with merch, a nationwide search for new podcast voices on behalf of Acast, speaking to music fans all over the world for DICE and capturing unforgettable moments at BST Hyde Park.

We’re looking for a part-time Researcher to join our team and help us create thoughtful work for our clients. Whether it’s copywriting, casting, pitching or production, we believe in the power of specifics and finding the little details which make good work great. This is a wide-ranging role which will allow us time and energy to make our projects more intentional and memorable for audiences.

Key tasks include:

  • Editorial research into the topics, stories and people we’re focused on both at pitching stage and campaign production
  • Sharing ideas for new business leads and helping us advance what we do with every project
  • Contributing ideas and leading concept development when we are responding to briefs
  • Developing our public social media and mailer output with a focus on connecting with interesting people and communicating our services clearly
  • Suggesting talent and creatives for our projects and being proactive in reaching out to these people to get the information we need
  • Copywriting for proposals, client projects and internal communications
  • Image and visual research for pitch and treatment design

Our Researcher is:

  • Creative and concise: You have big ideas but you can explain them in a sentence
  • Specialist and selective: You love to deep-dive but can make a decision on where the story is
  • Energetic and empathetic: You’re on board with our plans and understand that we can only get there if we’re nice to each other

You’ll need:

  • At least three years experience working creatively at a brand, publisher, agency or freelance
  • Tangible examples of projects made better by your ideas and research
  • An understanding of how advertising and production works within arts and culture
  • Experience presenting ideas clearly both in-person and digitally
