We’re starting a food revolution and we need your help.

In 2008 our co-founder Andy Cato was on the way home from a gig when he read an article about the perils of the industrial food system. The article ended with the line “If you don’t like the system, don’t depend on it.” This inspired Andy to sell the publishing rights to his music (his pension) and buy a farm.

After 15 years of failures (testing), hard work, challenges and learnings we’ve assembled the largest network of Regenerative arable farmers in the UK, which means we can now grow better quality crops at scale, whilst also restoring ecosystems.

In 2018 we launched Wildfarmed - a regenerative food brand supplying flour, bread, pizza, pasta etc to over 400 customers including: Jolene, Franco Manca, Ottolenghi, Pizza Pilgrims, The Fat Duck, Manchester City, Abel & Cole, Zizzi, Ocado, Waitrose, M&S.

Wildfarmed’s mission is to transform the food landscape by making delicious, healthy food grown in nature based, regenerative farming systems available on the high street.

We’re building a brand that, just like our fields, is FULL OF LIFE because sustainability doesn’t need (and cannot afford) to be a drag.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A portfolio that shows creative concepts, design application + final outcomes.
  • 3-5 years experience in an agency or studio environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite → InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects.
  • Excellent digital and print layout design execution skills.
  • Website design - working knowledge of HTML/CSS/Webflow/Figma/Sketch.
  • Ability to own creative development of projects.
  • Ability to own and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage, filter and action client Basecamp feedback.
  • Ability to own external supplier relationships.
  • Deliver creative projects across brand, print and digital.
  • Work closely with Creative Director, Senior & Junior Designers.
  • Confident presentation skills.
  • Support Creative Director with client presentations.
  • Support team members to meet collective team goals.
  • Ability to apply holistic thinking to projects.
  • Take initiative and display leadership qualities.

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Designing a wide range of visual content for Wildfarmed – across both print and digital– working closely with the Creative and Marketing teams.
  • Managing workflow and prioritising briefs coming in from the wider business.
  • Repurposing and editing assets for use across different platforms.
  • Concepting projects and presenting ideas to the team.
  • Delivering quality design work in a fast-paced environment and taking an active role in ensuring upcoming deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining an awareness of emerging trends.
  • Contribute to conceptual exploration including mood boards and sketches prior to upcoming projects.
  • Liaising with suppliers to source and create the best brand assets possible.
  • Reporting to our Marketing Lead.
