Mid-weight Strategist/Planner
Job Description
THE ROLE / OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity for a mid-weight creative communications Strategist/Planner to work in an ideas-led communications Agency across a wide variety of client projects.
Reporting into the London-based Strategy Director and working within our broader strategy team, you will:
- Develop clear objectives and plan multi-layered communication strategies across a range of brands.
- Develop clear, compelling insights that can inspire groundbreaking ideas.
- Write and deliver clear and engaging client briefs to our assigned internal creative teams.
- Work with data to report on effectiveness and performance to develop insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients & internal teams in presentations, pitches and workshops.
- Plan and execute multi-layered research.
- Utilise digital and other channels to achieve business goals.
You’ll be an experienced Strategist/Planner, used to thinking from an integrated perspective and will enjoy meeting communications and marketing challenges. You are comfortable working across multiple projects, both within teams and independently.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate:
- At least three years’ experience working on brand, communications, social, content, and digital strategy, developing concepts and turning ideas into exciting and effective creative campaigns.
- Ability to identify strategic needs and to lead all aspects of planning with sound business recommendations, generating alignment with key business partners.
- Highly collaborative, motivated and confident, with a record of building business.
- A deep knowledge of human behaviour and a keen interest in culture and social trends, technologies and innovations
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills internally and externally.
- Good presentation skills that encompass clear, compelling communications.
- Experience running your own research and group workshops and you will be comfortable presenting your ideas to clients.
- Highly organised and ideally with experience in GSuite, Microsoft Office and Slack.
- Love of horses a plus.
