Job Description

SWEAR is seeking a full-time Producer to cover maternity leave from March-October 2023, with scope to extend. The successful candidate will join us at a pivotal point in the year delivering both ongoing and new projects at various stages of development.

ABOUT SWEAR

SWEAR is the studio of artist and creative director Stephen Gallagher, co-founder of Block9. We create physical and digital interventions across a broad range of creative disciplines - from deeply immersive and provocative artworks and installations to world-class live shows. Specialists in environmental/set design, video and show content design, and visual arts for both public-facing performance and broadcast events, we frequently collaborate with iconic musical and visual artists to produce daring and exceptional new work. Recent projects include creative direction, stage and video design for Gorillaz World Tour, BRIT Awards 2022 and Stormzy’s This Is What I Mean – Live from Queen Elizabeth Hall.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a seasoned Producer/Project Manager with an extensive relevant skill set, gained through previous experience in the creative industries. You will be a fast learner, jumping straight into the role to swiftly become a cornerstone within the organisation. You will oversee project delivery with ambition and confidence from beginning to end whilst maintaining a positive and calm ‘can-do’ attitude. A collaborative team player, you will need a passion for accurate verbal and written communication, schedules and spreadsheets. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly. Your goal will be to ensure that studio processes are in place and followed so that visionary and dynamic work is produced to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.

Applicants should have comprehensive producing/project management experience in one or more of the following:

  • Video Design/Content Creation
  • Set/Installation Design & Build
  • Visual Arts

This role is a combination of both remote and studio working (Swear HQ is located in Tottenham). Applicants should be based in London or within easy commuting distance.
