Midweight 3D / Experience Designer
Job Description
Pentagram is a multi-disciplinary, independently-owned design studio made up of 11 partners in the London office. The role will be on Yuri Suzuki’s team.
Yuri’s team is a sound focused practice that encompasses art installations, products, digital experiences, sonic branding & future thinking projects.
We are looking for a Midweight 3D / Experience designer, who can lead projects from start to end. You will be:
- Leading project team from start to finish liaising directly with clients, production and fabrication partners
- Crafting concepts, designs, prototypes, and installs
- Be able to articulate your ideas and have good presentation skills
- Responsible for a project’s deadline while working together with our dedicated project manager
You will have the opportunity to:
- Work on projects exploring sound within the context of art installations and products
- Work on both 3D and 2D projects
- Work with cultural institutions and forward-thinking brands
- Be involved throughout the full design process
- Collaborate directly with graphic designers, sound designers, producers, fabricators, technologies, developers external and internal
- Work in a high autonomy environment
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Design (product, industrial, spatial, architectural etc)
- Minimum 4 years experience in the field of installation, spatial design, product or architecture
- Experience with industry-standard design tools: Rhino, Solidworks, Keyshot, Cinema4D, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in managing a project from start to finish
- Project management and organisational skills
- Creative problem solving and the ability to synthesise various modes of thinking
- Ability to communicate ideas to the team and client
- Ability to work and learn fast
Additional requirements that would be a bonus
- Bi-lingual is a positive
- Flexible skillset
- Understanding of electronics
