The Role

We at The Wild are looking for a Creative Strategist who recognises how brands need to think, talk and act in the new world – and understands that social should be at the heart of creating brilliantly relevant brands that truly connect with audiences.

The successful candidate will be able to think big and small – and everything in between – and most importantly, see social as the playground for launching ideas with cultural currency, not just the home of activation tactics and hacks.

As a Creative Strategist at The Wild you’ll work closely with our strategy team to understand our clients business problems and challenges, as well as their audiences; real-world experiences, to develop sharp creative briefs, strategies and platforms to get our creative teams moving. With a curious and analytical mind and a flair for bringing together emotional and logical thinking, we’re after a Creative Strategist who tells stories for fun, can hold court with internal and external teams alike, and gets down and dirty when production kicks off. The Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to help them understand the human disconnect that sits behind their business problems
  • Work with strategy teams to develop single-minded creative briefs that get our creative teams riled up
  • Work closely with creative teams to translate strategy into ideas and campaigns with a cultural currency that people will actually care about
  • Work alongside creative and production to deliver stunning social-first campaigns dripping with strategic rigour from launch to final execution
  • Pitch & present to internal and external teams; from research panels to campaign proposals, production KOs to project PCAs, you’ll be present throughout the campaigns you work on
  • Develop thought-leadership papers and webinars based on cutting edge insight gleaned from our proprietary data engine: DiscoverIQ
  • Continually push our clients and internal teams to recognise the creative potential of social while keeping one eye on launching campaigns that deliver IRL business impact

Who We’re After

  • You’ll have agency experience working in a creative, creative strategy or strategy role
  • Proven success in developing creative strategy for impactful campaigns
  • Fluent in all things social media: obsessed with mastering social ecosystems to deliver business effects and understanding the role of social in crafting and reflecting culture.
  • Strong understanding of how to translate business strategy into creative ideas
  • Experience in overseeing and working alongside creative and production
