The Bloomberg Marketing Studio is Bloomberg's in-house creative, brand, content, and digital marketing group, driving projects across the full spectrum of Bloomberg, both internally and externally. What’s the Role:
We’re looking for a senior graphic designer to join our team, helping to shape the visual identity of Bloomberg Connects, an exciting arts and culture app. Bloomberg Connects is a rapidly growing, free platform that helps museums, galleries, and cultural spaces make their institutions, stories and dynamic content more engaging to audiences around the world. Launched in 2019, Bloomberg Connects features engaging, multimedia guides with unique content exclusive to each of our cultural institution partners. We believe that technology opens doors, and we created the experience as a part of our mission to make art and culture accessible to all—in-person, at-home, and anywhere.
Reporting to the Creative Director you’ll play a key role in a team crafting the marketing and brand experience - creating striking visuals across campaigns, social, editorial, and beyond.
This role is for a meticulous craftsperson, someone with a sharp eye for detail, a deep love for design, and the work ethic to match. You’ll bring concepts to life, refine the smallest details, and push creative boundaries, ensuring every touchpoint feels considered, beautiful, and purpose-driven.
While this isn’t an Art Director role in title, you should be comfortable developing ideas from scratch and seeing them through to execution. Expect to work across branding, campaigns, motion, and digital storytelling, helping to evolve and elevate the brand.
You’ll be responsible for:
● Designing high-quality visuals across marketing, campaigns, social, editorial, and brand touchpoints.
● Bringing conceptual thinking to projects, from initial ideas to polished execution.
● Maintaining and evolving a consistent visual identity for the brand, within established design systems.
● Collaborating with writers, strategists, and other creatives to produce compelling work.
● Ensuring pixel-perfect execution with a keen eye for typography, composition, and craft.
● Staying ahead of design and culture trends to push the brand forward.
You’ll need to have:
● 5+ years of experience in design, with a strong portfolio showcasing brand and marketing work.
● A refined aesthetic and exceptional attention to detail.
● The ability to think conceptually as well as execute with precision.
● Experience designing for arts, culture, or editorial brands is a plus.
● Strong knowledge of Figma, Adobe CC, and motion tools are a bonus.
● A collaborative mindset and the ability to take ownership of projects.
