Senior Graphic Designer & Art Director – Digital & Brand
Location: London preferred (hybrid)
Reports to: CMO
Troubadour is seeking an experienced and hands-on Art Director to lead the visual direction and execution of our creative across all channels—marketing, e-commerce, brand, digital, and social. This role is ideal for a conceptual thinker and design leader who is as excited about big ideas as they are about flawless execution.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how our brand shows up in the world—from seasonal product storytelling and digital launches to immersive brand photography and high-performing campaigns. You’ll work closely with our marketing, growth, e-commerce, and design teams to bring thoughtful, beautiful creative to life. And you’ll help define the next chapter of Troubadour’s visual brand identity—steeped in premium performance, elevated design, and sustainability.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Execute Creative Direction
- Own creative strategy across channels, from product storytelling and launches to social, email, digital ads, and Amazon.
- Develop creative concepts and visual frameworks for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and evergreen content.
- Evolve and maintain the Troubadour brand system, ensuring consistency and freshness across all touchpoints.
- Hands-On Design & Content Creation
- Manage and contribute to how we concept, shoot, and edit brand photography and videography for social, e-commerce, product, and campaign needs.
- Create visually compelling assets for email marketing, paid ads, website banners, landing pages, Amazon listings, and social.
- Ensure creative assets reflect Troubadour’s premium aesthetic, design-driven ethos, and sustainability values.
Manage Creative Production
- Lead end-to-end content production: source models, scout locations, hire photographers/videographers, manage props, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with in-house team and freelancers to deliver high-quality assets on time and on brand.
- Oversee pipeline and project flow across digital channels (including Amazon, email, paid, website, and social).
- Collaborate Across Teams
- Align creative work with calendars, launches, and business goals.
- Support product design and strategy teams with packaging, campaign visuals, and UX asset needs.
- Contribute to website design, UX, and conversion-driven optimisations with both aesthetic and usability lenses.
- Manage the team’s creative process, from concept to final delivery, and drive asset organization for the company
Manage, Mentor & Optimise
- Provide feedback, direction, and mentorship to team designers and freelancers.
- Use performance data (engagement, traffic, conversions) to iterate and improve creative across channels.
- Champion brand excellence, pushing work forward with clarity, purpose, and impact.
We’re Excited About You Because
- You have 6+ years of design and art direction experience, with time spent in-house or agency-side at lifestyle, fashion, or DTC brands
- You’re a hands-on designer and art director with a sharp eye and exceptional taste
- You have deep experience in digital channels — designing high-performance creative for ecommerce, social, email, and paid media
- You’re confident managing and directing photo and video productions (from pre to post)
- You’re fluent in UX and web best practices and love optimising the customer journey across devices
- You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and are excited to shape a growing brand
- You lead with strategic thinking and back up your work with insights, data, and a strong creative rationale
- You are highly collaborative and adept at cross-functional alignment across marketing, product, and creative teams
Bonus points for: experience with ecommerce design, performance marketing, sustainability-driven brands, or premium/luxury positioning

- Figma and/or Sketch
- Notion, Google Workspace, Slack
- Monday.com or other project tools
- Lightroom / Capture One a plus
