Job Description
Grid Studios is a production agency based at Old Street, London. We've been running for nearly seven years, working with well-known brands across hair, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, including Batiste, Ribena, Babyliss, L’Oréal, and Lucozade. While we work across various sectors, we've made a real name for ourselves in beauty and personal care content. We're production-first and everything we make is built on craft.
We're looking for a video editor who can take great footage and turn it into content that earns attention, someone who cares about the cut as much as the brief, and who thrives in a fast-paced creative agency environment.
The Role
You'll edit across a range of formats, campaign films, social content, tutorials, and brand storytelling, while also becoming the studio's lead on an exciting and growing area: AI video production. This includes end-to-end work on AI-generated talking-head content for our corporate clients, using tools like HeyGen and ElevenLabs, integrating with footage, graphics, and client brand systems.
Alongside our beauty and lifestyle work, you'll be the dedicated editor on a major professional services account, a high-profile client requiring precision, brand consistency, and a polished grade across all deliverables. If photo retouching is also in your skill set, there's scope to contribute across our stills work too.
Your responsibilities
- Editing campaign films, social content, and brand videos from rough cut through to final delivery and client sign-off
- Colour grading and audio finishing to a broadcast-ready standard
- Adapting edits for multiple platforms and formats.
- Managing revisions clearly and efficiently across multiple concurrent projects
- Leading production of AI avatar video content using from script and voice selection through to final output
- Integrating AI-generated footage with live-action material, motion graphics, and branded templates
- Maintaining quality and brand consistency across high-volume AI video workflows
- Staying current with developments in AI video tooling and bringing new capabilities to the team
- Acting as the primary editor on all deliverables for a major professional services client, working to strict brand guidelines and high corporate standards
- Developing a deep understanding of the client's visual identity and applying it consistently across all content formats
- Handling sensitive corporate content with discretion and professionalism
- Maintaining organised project folders, proxy workflows, and shared asset libraries
- Quality-checking all deliverables against brief criteria before they leave the studio
- Flagging scope changes, technical issues, and timeline risks proactively
Must-haves
- Strong command of Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
- A reel demonstrating narrative instinct and technical precision
- Confident colour grading and audio skills
- Experience cutting for social formats (Reels, TikTok, YouTube)
- Curiosity about AI video tools
- Comfortable working to the high standards corporate clients demand
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with HeyGen or other AI avatar platforms
- Photo retouching skills in Photoshop / Capture One
- Motion graphics, After Effects or Fusion
- Experience working on corporate or professional services content
- Knowledge of delivery specs across digital and broadcast platforms
What we offer
- £28,000–£36,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working. A mix of days in our studio in Old Street and balanced with remote flexibility
- A well-equipped creative studio with a professional kit and infrastructure
- A genuinely varied slate of work: Beauty campaigns, corporate content, and frontier AI video production, all under one roof
- A small team where your craft is seen, your development is invested in, and your input matters
How to apply
Please share your reel and CV to danny@gridstudios.com. We won't be able to consider applications that don't include a reel. This is a London-based role, so please only apply if you can comfortably commute to our studio.
