Casting Assistant

Leading London-based casting agency the line is hiring an experienced Casting Assistant to support the team’s growth working with its roster of luxury brands. Join the dynamic, international team to offer value across the full span of casting from client management to street casting, talent management and creative.
JOB
- Managing and sustaining existing relationships with clients pushing for regular jobs.
- Assisting on all outreach to prominent photographers, stylists and AD/CD world wide to forge long term relationships
- Leading on all relationships with all model agents worldwide, keeping up to date with new talent and ensure strong relationships for best options possible
- Lead & Assist on casting briefs from clients, from initial client call, brief out to agents, creating decks
- Lead & Assist on managing all client comms and managing expectations, helping educate them on model calibers while aiming to get them the best models possible.
- Negotiate all model rates and usages for each individual brief
- Street scouting for the line roster and ad hoc jobs
SKILLS
- Strong relationships with talent agents worldwide
- Experience working directly with brands and magazine
- A strong roster / black book of photographers, stylists and AD/CD in fashion and advertising
- Deep understanding of usages and model rates
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Deep understanding of luxury fashion and model and talent in this space, up to date on all shows / designers and editorials of the season
- Excellent understanding of client briefs and client management skills
- Excellent people management and collaboration skills, able to teach and help grow teams
