The Role
Working with our Creative Lead you will play a pivotal role in the visual output of the brand, crafting compelling content that aligns with our brand's aesthetic and ethos. You will manage our social media channels and create diverse content for social media, email and ecommerce. Engaging with our community, responding to comments and direct messages, and interacting with influential partners will be key. You'll manage our content library, conduct market research to stay ahead of trends, and analyse the success of our marketing efforts by tracking key metrics.
It is a great opportunity for someone who is already engaged with the lifestyle industry, and is on the pulse of the ever-changing social media landscape. A proactive, can-do approach is essential.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Creative Lead to bring MG&Co. campaigns to life across channels.
- Social Media Management: Manage our social media channels; Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, to ensure that there is a steady stream of high-quality content being produced and published.
- Scheduling: Plan and schedule content that aligns with our marketing calendar and reacts to live sales and events.
- Content Creation: Create a range of content types for social and ecommerce using your own design, photography, videography, writing and editing skills.
- Copy Writing: Write compelling copy for social, emails, landing pages, and new product launches.
- Community engagement: respond to comments, DM’s and interact with key influential partners accounts.
- Website: Support ecommerce performance through regular site updates and merchandising. Implement and optimise SEO best practices across site content and product listings.
- Content Library: Manage our content library; organising, storing, and retrieving content as needed to ensure it is easily usable by the whole company.
- Market Research: continually monitoring emerging trends, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Analysis: Analyse the success of content, social and community marketing efforts. This includes tracking metrics weekly such as engagement, website traffic and purchase data to determine the effectiveness of your work.
- Events: Support 360 planning around photoshoots and special projects such as Pop ups, press events and local engagement programs.
The successful candidate will have:
- 2+ years in social media, digital marketing, or ecommerce.
- Excellent copy writing and editing skills, with a brand-appropriate tone of voice.
- Proven experience managing social accounts and content calendars.
- Great content creation skills and experience using Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, Google Analytics, and Shopify.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Creative thinker with a finger on the pulse of trends and digital culture.
- Non essential but a plus: Experience with Later, Klaviyo, Meta/Google Ads Manager, studio/lifestyle Photography.
