Job Description

We’re looking for a highly practical, delivery-driven Senior Creative Strategist to own and operate our paid Meta advertising machine - end-to-end.

At The Lost Estate, performance marketing is powered by creative. This role is not about sitting back and directing from a distance. It’s about rolling up your sleeves, producing creative fast, analysing results obsessively, and continually refining the process to scale performance and impact.

The Opportunity

Over the last 3 months, our Performance Marketing team has been building a best-in-class Meta creative system - a content engine designed to take us from £20M revenue to £50M and beyond. The final piece of the puzzle is you: a skilled strategist who thrives on execution, loves shipping high-performing creative at pace, and knows how to turn insights into ads that convert.

This is a unique opportunity to take on a project that’s already producing results - and drive it to new heights through hands-on delivery.

Your Mission

You’ll be the driving force behind our Meta ads - not just in setting vision, but in delivering creative at volume, at quality, and with a performance-first mindset.

You’ll:

  • Write briefs and turn them into testable concepts.
  • Direct and shape assets from draft to upload.
  • Build the creative structures, systems, and rosters that support rapid scaling.
  • Dive into the data, find what’s working, and push performance further every single week.
  • Coach and mentor creatives around you - but never from the sidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Ownership

  • Full accountability for Meta performance KPIs: cost per acquisition, volume, CTR, hook/hold rates.
  • Own the ad pipeline: ensure consistent delivery of high-performing, diverse, on-brand creatives.

Creative Strategy & Execution

  • Personally lead the creation of new ad concepts - from idea through to final file.
  • Set the pace for high-output delivery; brief, review, refine, and publish creative daily/weekly.
  • Ensure every creative asset has a clear strategic basis and is ready for testing at speed.
  • Continually evolve the frameworks and documentation (Message Houses, content maps, etc.) that guide production.
  • Lead weekly WIP and review sessions with marketing and creative teams.

Creative Analysis & Optimisation

  • Run an ongoing Meta CRO programme - ideate, test, and iterate creative with rigorous discipline.
  • Analyse ad performance and surface insights to guide your next creative moves.
  • Maintain performance dashboards and naming conventions for consistent tracking.
  • Collaborate across marketing to bring performance insights into landing pages, funnels, and other assets.

Team & Department Building

  • Mentor other creatives - both within your team and cross-functionally - on how to think and work performance-first.
  • Partner with the Head of Performance Marketing to refine buying strategies and attribution systems.
  • Contribute to long-term planning for launches, seasonal peaks, and new creative directions.

What You Bring

Must-Have

  • 3–5+ years hands-on experience building and managing performance creative for Meta.
  • Proven ability to personally create and iterate on ads that scale - you’re used to getting into the tools and making the work happen.
  • Strong grasp of consumer psychology and performance advertising - you know how to turn insight into creative that converts.
  • Skilled at interpreting performance data and optimising accordingly - Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and performance dashboards are second nature.
  • Experience running large-scale campaigns (£400K+/month) with measurable impact.

Nice-to-Have

  • Agency or fast-paced in-house experience where creative production is frequent, reactive, and test-driven.
  • Experience working down-funnel - landing pages, conversion copy, UX flows.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Figma and Notion.
