Hiring range: £85,000 - £95,000 per annum

The team

ITV Creative is the in-house agency for ITV, responsible for delivering 360 campaigns to promote ITVX and ITV content, as well as the entire ITV brand portfolio. We also produce work for external clients and brands, working closely with the Commercial team.

We are made up of creatives, writers, editors, producers and directors underpinned by campaign management and strategy. In addition we have a post production team comprising editors, dubbing mixers, graphics and a post production management team.

We live within the Marketing function and so work in close collaboration with marketing, media, continuity and research & planning.

The role

With the recent launch of ITVX, as ITV evolves from a TV brand to a streaming brand, it’s important the way we connect with our viewers is reflective of that. This is a new role within ITV Creative, to ensure we have creative excellence across every touchpoint, throughout the marketing funnel bringing performance marketing expertise to help us drive audience growth on ITVX.

Working to the overall creative strategy set by the ECD and Director of Creative, the role is to lead our “Always On” performance marketing creative output to bring to life the marketing and media strategy for ITVX and ITV. Channels include: including paid social, display, YouTube, Connected TV, targeted VOD and CRM.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Experience within e-Commerce/streaming platforms/DTC marketing (either agency or brand side)
  • Proven record/examples of performance marketing campaigns
  • Extensive experience in performance marketing (paid social advertising), working with and understanding performance data to fuel and inform decision making
  • Experience of building and managing a team
  • Experience of working with numerous stakeholders, within an agency and also other areas of the business
  • Experience in art direction, and deep understanding of the power of photography and imagery within a digital context
  • Proficient in copywriting for performance marketing
  • Experience of creating assets, from stills, dynamic to moving image and video
  • Experience of collaborating with other areas of an agency to get the best results
  • Ability to react and adapt to data, research and analytics to create the most effective campaigns

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

  • An ambitious creative with a data driven and test and learn mindset from a performance marketing background who can show tangible examples of campaigns/projects delivered.
  • A solid understanding of what advertising works on different social platforms and paid social media
  • An ideas person who can push ITVX performance marketing forward to make the quality of creative best in class.
  • Thinks platform first and understands the best practice principles for creative assets whether that be on Facebook, display or YouTube to drive action
  • A strong leader who wants to build and retain a passionate and talented creative team
  • Someone who can challenge the status quo, to ensure we’re creating high quality performance marketing to help achieve ITVXs goals
  • A people person, who can work collaboratively with the broader ITVC team, as well as form strong relationships with Marketing and Media (performance marketing teams specifically), as well as potentially the commissioning team and production teams.
  • Experience working with DAM/MAM systems preferable
  • A love of content and TV
