Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and proactive Project Director to lead our project management team. With responsibility for project and resource management across the agency, this role is perfect for a natural organiser with great problem-solving skills.

You’ll be working on a range of interesting digital and brand projects with a great bunch of strategists, designers and developers across the world. Managing some projects yourself and overseeing the work of three project managers, you’ll be picking up on potential challenges and opportunities in ongoing projects and resolving scheduling crunches.

You’ll work with colleagues to shape incoming opportunities, scope and plan projects, manage the resource schedule and deliver top-notch projects on time and within budget.

You’ll use your expertise to spot potential opportunities for improving our processes and project delivery.

About you

  • You have solid experience working in a digital agency, managing project resource and workflow.
  • You understand the design and development process and can scope and cost projects accordingly.
  • You can communicate clearly with clients and colleagues in person, over calls and via email, demonstrating diplomacy and negotiation skills.
  • You remain calm under pressure and maintain a patient and positive approach when dealing with multiple requests.
  • You’re comfortable working across several projects and prioritising changing tasks.
  • Problem solving, client management and client negotiation should come easily to you.
  • Ideally you have some experience managing or mentoring a team.

We work in Google Suite, Slack, Adobe, Paymo and some other tools. You’ll need to have some experience of these or be a fast learner.

Benefits:

  • Cycle-to-work scheme, tech loans and season ticket loans.
  • Flexible working around core hours and hybrid working.
  • Generous parental leave and other family-friendly policies.
  • Matched pension contributions.
