Purpose of the Role:

This is an opportunity for an experienced Videographer & Designer to shoot, edit and publish eye-catching videos for equity research and our corporate clients as well as lead and shape the creation of striking and powerful design across the business.

Video & audio content is an increasingly important tool to highlight our research analysts’ insight and our corporate clients’ thoughts about the companies they lead. We generate short, engaging videos that may feature animated graphics and we seek to experiment in new video and podcast formats and track our client’s response to them. We shoot in our London offices, off-site or remotely via platforms such as Zoom & Teams.

The role requires experience of single handedly arranging, lighting, shooting, editing and, publishing video, as well as creating motion and animated graphics and podcasting. We are looking for someone creative that will bring fresh thinking and new ideas and inspire the teams around them. The successful candidate will be very well organised and demonstrate initiative and ability to work to often tight timescales in this employee-owned Investment Bank.

Reporting to:

Chief Operating Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the video and audio content strategy

• Organise, shoot, edit and publish videos, audio & podcasts

• Create animation and motion graphics for video, social media and marketing purposes

• Work with internal teams to identify and promote Equity research through video & podcasts

• Provide creative ideas to internal teams for use of video and audio content in pitches, new business, or client service

• Rebrand Liberum video content for external client needs

• Lead cover and infographics design across our research, presentation and, digital platforms

• Help shape the content on our website, intranet, marketing materials and social media channels

• Shoot staff portrait photography for new employees

• Edit and publish audio content from short internal daily morning meeting

• Assist in the production of live virtual events

• Research, Investment Banking, Sales & Production teams

• Liberum clients including C-suite management teams

• Executive Management Team

Skills, Attributes and Credentials:

• 5+ years of experience in video, audio, and creative design

• Highly competent in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects & Adobe Creative Cloud

• Strong writing and communication skills, fluent in English and experience operating and working with C-suite executives

• A ‘can do’ attitude, delivering projects that exceed the expectations of internal teams and Liberum clients

• Well organised, efficient, proactive and have a strong ability to think strategically

• Ability to work autonomously, efficiently and meet deadlines, managing multiple projects at any one time

• A curiosity and desire to stay on top of the latest technologies and trends

• Experience with video analytics
