Job Description

Rose is internationally renowned for creating and developing multi-award winning, commercially successful brands. We are looking for an exceptional, responsive and enthusiastic full-time designer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in brand identity and campaign projects who is seeking increased responsibility and the rare opportunity to become a key member of our small team. Our clients range from start-ups, to established global brands, so we are looking for someone with experience of working closely with clients, with a well-rounded branding portfolio across digital and print.

We are currently still hybrid working several days a week from our South East London studio, and the rest of the week from home (subject to review and change, going forward).

Our expectations of the successful candidate will be to deliver a meaningful contribution to the day-to-day conceptualisation, design, design development and artwork of all studio projects under the guidance of creative directors, and in close consultation/collaboration with the project manager and designers.

We’d like to see candidates that demonstrate the ability to conceptualise great ideas and implement them beautifully across a variety of different media and applications.

Responsibilities

– Work from an initial brief and time plan to undertake all stages of a project, from initial research, mood-boards and ideas, to planning and compiling presentations and developing designs for client approval.

– Present ideas internally to the Creative Directors and ensure feedback is recorded for development.

– Create and flight-check final presentations, artwork and proofs you are responsible for (personally or when overseeing others) before delivery to clients or suppliers.

– Manage time effectively in collaboration with the studio/project manager.

– Communicate with clients as required.

– Contribute to and help maintain the studio social media and web presence.

Attributes

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

– Excellent CS Suite skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator are mandatory – After Effects and Premiere Pro would be advantageous).

– Proactive, organised and efficient with high levels of attention to detail.

– Enthusiastic, confident person (commensurate with experience) who is able to articulate and present ideas.

– Comfortable and motivated when working independently and as part of a team with some experience of delegation (when working with other designers or interns/placements).

– Some experience of remote work would be preferred but someone with the skills, motivation and drive to succeed in a hybrid working environment will be required.
