Since we were founded in 2007, It’s Nice That has become the leading platform to inspire creativity around the world. Across our online platform, and through our events and social channels, we reach an audience of over 8.3 million people every month – from juniors joining the industry to creative thought leaders.

As well as covering inspirational work and projects, we harness our creative expertise to help brands communicate their messages and products to our creative audience. This takes the shape across online advertising, brand partnerships, creative insights, experiences and social creators. We work with brands of all scales, from local start-ups through to global companies such as Spotify, Apple, The LEGO Group, Vans, BBC and many more. Across all our projects, we look to produce high-quality creative and campaigns to engage audiences across our channels.

It’s Nice That is looking for a Midweight Creative to support on delivering our brand partnerships, insights and campaigns. This is a fantastic opportunity to embed your experience and expertise into a well-loved and ever-growing creative platform, and play an important role in growing the creative ambition and quality of It’s Nice That’s projects.

Job Purpose

This role will be largely responsible for delivering It’s Nice That’s commercial projects. You will be asked to work with the wider team to deliver brilliant creative work for a breadth of brands across commercial partnerships, campaigns and insight projects working from initial pitch stage to final outcome.

Reporting into the senior creative, you will be responsible for implementing the creative direction across a range of creative mediums, from digital campaigns to physical activations, as well contributing to research-led insights projects. You will be collaborating closely with It’s Nice That team members, our creative network and overseeing freelance creatives and collaborators.

The ideal candidate

  • Experienced at developing ideas for commercial creative projects – you know how to communicate an idea matched to briefs and client needs.
  • Ideally coming from a creative agency background or a background in publishing / media companies.
  • Experienced at working across creative execution across a variety of mediums. You are an adaptable creative and regard yourself as having a multidisciplinary approach.
  • A fantastic knowledge of creative talent across the industry.
  • A good understanding of visual trends and how they are being executed.
  • A solid grounding in graphic design (typography, layout, branding, art working and image making).
  • An experienced creative collaborator. You have experience of collaborating with a breadth of creative disciplines and thrive within this process.
  • Knowledgeable about the creative industry, as well as digital media companies and how they operate.
  • A great communicator, whether it be presenting to clients or collaborating on a project internally.
  • Approaches challenges with a positive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Creative quality is a key priority for you and you are always seeking opportunities to advance the quality of creative work whenever possible.
  • Experienced in overseeing team members and collaborators to facilitate projects.
  • Graphic design Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, After Affects), Keynote, Google Docs

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on the creative execution of It’s Nice That’s commercial projects.
  • Oversee and deliver research, idea generation, pitch production, presenting, art direction, commissioning and design.
  • Create proposals alongside commercial team members, and pitch creative ideas in an engaging manner to clients for brand partnerships and campaigns.
  • Contribute to visual trend and talent research for commercial projects.
  • Support on overseeing creative teams and freelancers on projects.
  • Maintain and continue to develop a deep understanding of the creative industry and visual trends.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with emerging and established names within the creative industry.
  • Maintain and develop creative quality.
  • Help maintain and develop business relationships, securing new business and ensuring future stability.
  • Oversee and analyse the effectiveness of our creative work.
  • Identify new opportunities for the business.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm (flexible hours between 8:30am – 6:30pm)
  • Location: 2 days in our London studio (Tuesdays and Thursdays) with the rest of the week from home
