Job Description

WE ARE TOMMY, ARE YOU?

Are you the visual storyteller type whose purpose in life is coming up with great creative? Do you love a pitch and creating innovative, channel-first campaigns? Do you have a great portfolio of work in the social space and a real desire to win awards?

If so, you might be the best person for this job. We are looking for a passionate and innovative middleweight Creative Art Director to join our talented global team in our London office. You must share our love for great creative, our passion for innovative technology, a fascination for popular culture, and a commitment to delivering successful and award-winning campaigns for the likes of Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Southampton F.C., Tesco Mobile, William Grant & Sons, and Adobe.

We search out the most talented individuals we can find, but a positive attitude and a passion for seeing great work through as part of the team are qualities on which we won’t compromise. A Creative Art Director for Tommy will envisage cutting-edge digital ideas and shepherd them through the creative process to dazzling results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate is a middleweight creative art director with a strong social background, quite likely looking for her/his second job in the industry. We’re after a super-talented conceptual and strategic talent who is comfortable working alone as well as in a team.

You will thrive on innovation, popular culture, and creativity - and have a passion for creating channel firsts in the social space. Although we’re looking for a creative art director our candidate should also have an interest in words and writing and we would be very happy looking at candidates who consider themselves both art director and writer.

Daily you will be expected to:

  • Create concepts for day-to-day projects as well as new business pitches - either singularly or in a team
  • Art direct campaigns for a number of different clients - in sport, drink, music and entertainment
  • Share your passion, enthusiasm and knowledge for popular culture, design and innovation in the social space
  • Present your ideas to clients when required.
  • Be a motivated self-starter. We want a passionate creative who wants to prove themselves and create amazing work. So please show any speculative projects where you’ve made it happen yourself

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience.

  • 2-4 years as a Creative in a social agency or similar
  • A portfolio of exciting creative work, primarily in the social space
  • Art Direction and Creative Visualisation
  • Adept in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Ideally you will have won awards (even if only at student level)
  • Experience in presenting your ideas to clients
