We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Graphic Designer to join our Design Team. This role will primarily be remote with the opportunity to work in our London studio.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Graphic Designers as well as the wider team members on cultural projects of various sizes and scales
  • Design and assist the development of social media assets, documents and presentations using templates and style sheets
  • Make sure the design production adheres to brand guidelines
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and marketing materials
  • Prepare artworks for professional print, applying printer specifications
  • Maintain accurate files and records
  • Manage personal workflow and schedule
  • Participate in project team meetings and be comfortable presenting ideas and designs
  • Flexible in work hours when necessary

Required Skills and Experience

  • 1-2 years professional experience as a graphic designer, ideally in a similar role (or recently graduated)
  • A graphic design degree
  • Mac literate and able to use Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • A killer portfolio of work including layouts / editorials
  • Demonstrated ability in the creation of infographics, and strong experience working on InDesign templates following brand guidelines
  • Attention to detail, strong aesthetic, knowledge of typography and layout principles
  • A creative problem solver - joined up thinking - you’re able to think steps ahead
  • Flexible, collaborative, and resourceful hands-on approach
  • Good time-management skills, able to work across several diverse projects simultaneously
  • Strong organisational, communication, and multi-tasking skills
  • Meeting demanding timescales, whilst maintaining the highest standards
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to request support when appropriate
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Constantly staying tuned in to the latest developments in the design world, and with a natural curiosity for the world at large

Highly Desirable

  • Knowledge or interest in the heritage and culture sector, experience working for exhibitions or museums
  • Confident in laying out Arabic text
  • Animation / Illustration skills
