The Brand Comms team plays a pivotal role in this - telling engaging stories, creating meaningful experiences and entertaining our audience. You’ll be a key member of our in-house creative studio, creating outputs for online and offline touchpoints. You’ll champion the Nando’s visual identity, evolving the way we look, bringing creative excellence to everything we do and making sure we show up at our best across all platforms. The role is varied and ideal for a generalist designer/artworker.
You’ll have:
- 5+ years in a creative or design led role with a solid understanding of current and emerging trends
- A portfolio or examples of work
- An evident passion for design and everything creatively related
- Knowledge of both print and digital design

Responsibilities:
- Developing creative and engaging artwork and assets for materials targeted at a youth audience
- Meticulous attention to design principles in typography and layouts
- Proficient in Adobe CC’s Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Ability to anticipate trends and keep your finger on the pulse of visual design trends and innovations
- Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs
- Contribute to the overall creative process as visual storyteller, providing great ideas for campaigns, editorial content, social, digital channels and internal comms e.g. our internal magazine, social content, restaurant collateral, event collateral
- Work with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet them
- Communicate, present and sell in the idea clearly and effectively
- Ability to work from branding guidelines, and be an ambassador for the Creative Studio Team and promote / protect Nando’s brand identity in all channels
- Day-to-day management of projects, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers
- Making sure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, on brand, to a high standard and with stakeholder satisfaction
- Be approachable and respond to day-to-day queries, contribute to the smooth running of the team and support team members when they need it
- Use time effectively and accurately record all aspects of projects
- Actively participate in weekly stand-ups, team meetings and strategy sessions and maintain team spirit
- Support and mentor a small team of designers from our Bring Your Outside In programme

This role will is hybrid and will be based in our Putney office 3 x a week.
