Job Description

Role: Head of Brand and Creative

Location: London (Hybrid)

Start: 1st September 2025

Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 (FTE)

Working pattern: Part Time / Fractional - 4 days

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our company at a crucial time. We have just launched our new identity, and this could be the opportunity of a lifetime for the right person. We are on a mission to change how people listen to music, and we need others to bring this vision to life. The company is small, goals are demanding, and the workload is always growing. This means it's not a job for everyone. The right person will thrive and build their best work in a brand which is positioned for change. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and the Head of Global PR, the Head of brand and Creative will lead a small team of in-house creatives to deliver the aspirational marketing plan.

Key activities

Live and breathe the brand - you naturally embody our brand pillars: Inspired by music. Crafted by design. Shaped by culture. Someone who instinctively understands quality - in brand, in marketing, in design and who knows how to make small budgets go a long way without compromising on standards.

You are at the heart of contemporary music culture - that means knowing what music lovers care about, what the brand stands for, and how to translate that into work that resonates - emotionally, culturally, and commercially.

Be a voice of the brand – your job is to build belief and make sure the new direction is understood and protected as it rolls out across the business. You will be comfortable presenting to listeners, press and retailers and feel at home in the spotlight whether that’s on the big stage or presenting video content.

Lead creative internally and externally - across web, print, video, physical and digital. From concept to final execution, you will lead and manage the art direction of every shoot and campaign across all channels and own the results and outcomes.

Own and develop the content strategy - deliver content that speaks to our three brand pillars. Inspired by music, shaped by culture and crafted by design to make sure we are making the right things for the right audiences.

Marry the copy and the creative - you will have a way with words and the ability to enhance and industrialise the brand guidelines from day one ensuring a global normalisation for how we appear in our diverse markets

Collaborate - Be the conduit between Engineering, Marketing, and Product to support creation of marketing requirements for product development. Able to sell your vision to business stakeholders and see projects through from inception to delivery. You will be a natural at aligning stakeholders

Manage and Inspire – using a blend of in-house and external resources to deliver first class creative and build a world leading creative function. Including agency resources, external copywriters, freelancers and internal creatives you will inspire collaboration with the business and build a strong team to get ahead of the curve.
