Job Description

We’re looking for a Cinematic Motion Designer!

We are a creative led studio specialising in title sequences and in-film design, and are looking for a talented, passionate and driven designer to join our lovely team.

We're very fortunate to work exclusively for film and high end tv, where we are specialists with a passion for cinematic storytelling. We don't take on corporate, commercial or content related work. We believe in every project wholeheartedly. Once we’re in, we are hook, line and sinker.

The role:

You’ll be devising, designing and delivering motion design sequences for film and high end series (Netflix/Amazon) and working alongside the Creative Director in devising and creating style frames for pitches.

We often work off brief, so artists with their own thoughts, interests and practises are highly encouraged to apply. You’ll have a strong design background and keen eye for detail who’s projects look beautiful and are technically sound. Passion and interest in film is essential.

What we’re looking for:

  • You have excellent After Effects skills (+5 years experience).
  • You are a proactive, confident designer with great communication skills.
  • You have experience in art direction, ideation and creating style frames.
  • You are creative and passionate, with an eye and ear for detail.

Bonus experience + skills:

  • C4D.
  • Premiere for animatics.
  • Pitching.
  • Experience working with Shotgun.

Job location:

Our studio is based in London, and this position is remote. We prioritise artistry over international borders, and look forward to applications globally.

Perks of the job:

We believe in work/life balance and breaking the glorification of overworking. Our working day is 9am to 6pm. If overtime is required, and you are available to work, we will give any overtime hours clocked back as time in lieu.

We recognise the requirements of life. We don’t dictate your lunch breaks, and then overrun them with meetings.

Our studio is closed over the christmas period, we all need a holiday!

We also don’t believe in employee segregation. When we’re idea generating, or considering proposals – we believe in all voices, where we can have a truly valuable discussion without ego and hierarchy.
