A bit about the role…
We’re looking for a conceptual copywriter who shapes creative ideas worth remembering and copy worth reading. You’ll work alongside strategists, designers and other creatives on everything from naming to ATL campaigns. Some days you’ll be building a tone of voice from scratch. Others you’ll be creating animations for social, writing TV scripts, or squeezing a big idea into six words on a billboard. The clients are as varied as the work. We work with beer and cider brands that sound like no one else in their category (Strongbow, Inch’s). Luxury icons with a history of iconic writing (Fortnum & Mason). Financial platforms with something to say (IG). And new brands yet to put their voice to paper.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceive and develop original campaign ideas in collaboration with art directors, designers, and strategists.
- Create, document, and apply brand tone of voice for clients across categories.
- Write across formats – from TV and OOH, to scripts, social copy, and websites.
- Present creative work internally and to clients with confidence and warmth.
- Work with strategists to interrogate briefs and sharpen the thinking behind the work.
- Edit, adapt, and refine copy to high standard under deadlines that can sometimes be tight.
Skills / Experience
- A track record of working on major brands and recognisable campaigns.
- Mid/Senior Copywriter
- Strong conceptual thinker with proven creative range.
- Experience shaping brand tone of voice from scratch.
- Demonstrated ability to create campaigns and write across multiple channels and formats.
- Versatility to shift between categories and tones without losing craft.
- Comfortable presenting ideas to clients and collaborating across disciplines.
