Motion Designer
Job Description
We are partnering with an integrated marketing and branding agency, working closely with restaurants and bars, luxury hotels, some top food & beverage brands as well as some non-hospitality clients.
They are seeking a strong midweight/senior Motion Designer who blends creative and strategic thinking to join their team in London. They are looking for someone who has a passion for how motion and brands work together.
The role :
The role requires strong experience in 2D motion, this will be client facing and require confidence liaising with senior stakeholders and being an evangelist for concepts and ideas you and the creative team come up with.
The role will sit as a sole motion designer amongst a team of 8 designers, so this will be a great chance to lead the motion design service. Past experience working on motion design within social media is a big plus for this!
About You :
Have worked the end-to-end process, from concept to execution and feel confident throughout this process on social media based motion projects
Understand what "stops the scroll", with the ability to create concepts, storyboards, styleframes and animatics based on social media
Able to work confidently in 2D motion graphics for brands
Work closely and collaborate with the creative teams, as well as being confident to lead the motion service as the sole motion designer
Confidently present ideas and motion back to the wider creative teams as well as external clients and partners
Able to work across multiple motion projects on different timescales
Have responsibility over your own workload, managing your time effectively and delivering to deadline and within budget
