Job Description

Builders Club are looking for a passionate, tech-savvy Social Media & PR Editor to help launch and promote their new exciting global film production company ZUKUNFT, launching late summer 2023. Working with clients including Universal, Samsung, Nike, Apple, Chanel, Beats, Adidas we create forward thinking commercials, creative content and music videos.

Key tasks will include creative content planning, developing and maintaining website and social media channels, building online profiles for our collaborators, asset creation and newsletters whilst exploring innovative ways to establish the brand identity.

You will be briefed by and report to the company’s founders and Executive Producers and join weekly creative meetings to discuss the management and development of the brand.

We welcome applications from experienced candidates who can self manage whilst also being interested to hear from those looking to find their way into the role. The ideal candidate will be someone who is excited about the opportunity to develop a brand from the ground up and motivated to find original, engaging ways to present new media.

Required skills:

  • You are passionate about Social Media, Film, Photography, Digital Art, Design and great editorial content
  • You can demonstrate experience liaising with both external clients and internal creative teams
  • You have a proven track record of successfully running social media accounts
  • You have experience creating social media content calendars and actioning them
  • You are skilled at copywriting, creating visual assets, formatting and posting
  • You are committed to taking part in shaping the following/community around this new brand ZUKUNFT
  • You have a keen eye for high quality content and know how to curate, showcase and elevate the team's best work
  • You have basic skills in Premiere and Photoshop which allow you to edit & format the best content for our platforms (instagram, website, linkedin, newsletter, client presentations).
  • You are aware of the power of tagging, topics and engaging with an online audience
  • You know how to communicate with our collaborating directors, producers and clients to gather enough information to write and package up press releases to showcase our best work. This would go out to our industry’s media platforms such as Dazed, i-D, shots.net, Nowness and many more
  • You are meticulous about putting together showreels and client presentations, all tailored to different types of clients such as Sony Music, Balenciaga, Google and Mercedes-Benz
  • You are open to helping clients, directors and producers who haven’t worked with us before to find their way around the company
  • You are proactive and like to keep things moving
  • You are willing to make yourself useful with any other tasks at hand if you have free time beyond the above
  • You are familiar with google workspace apps such as google slides, google sheets, gmail
  • You can demonstrate strong literacy skills

Minimum 1 year experience and right to work in the UK

Salary: dependent on experience

Location: We can offer a flexible arrangement, based out of our Studio in Hackney with working from home days. A fully remote position could be available for the right candidate.

Contract: Full time
