British-born, today we have 14 stores across the UK – and are excited to have recently opened our third store in the US – an established Interior Design and Trade business, a mail-order service and a thriving website.
We are currently looking to recruit a Midweight Designer to support our Studio Team, based at our office in Ixworth Place, Chelsea.
We operate a hybrid working model: three or more days from the office, the remainder of the week from home.

Working as part of our Studio team, the Midweight Designer (Motion) will utilise their motion design expertise to design innovative direct marketing materials, collaborating on multi-channel promotional campaigns, creating dynamic social media content and providing crucial motion design support to the wider team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Designing innovative, effective, and response-driven direct marketing materials, including social and digital content, direct mail, and visual retail communications, ensuring they align with OKA’s brand values and identity
• Working with the other Designers, Marketing teams, and Copywriters on multi-channel promotional campaigns, visualising and developing concepts to the creation and delivery of final assets
• Branding and identity of new video formats and franchises
• Design and build of dynamic social media templates
• Supporting wider design team with BAU asks such as designs and concepts for the E-commerce site, layout of direct mail materials, point of sale, visual retail solutions, press releases, and internal communications when required
• Managing design projects from the concept to completion, while liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
• Actively contributing ideas in creative meetings and brainstorming sessions and having the ability to build and develop creative concepts related to design
• Staying ahead of trends and new technology
• Supporting with upskilling of other designers with After Effects
ABOUT YOU
• Previous experience as a midweight Graphic Designer, Digital Designer or Motion Designer within a brand or agency environment
• Proven experience solely managing design projects, from ideation and research through to presenting mock-ups and producing final assets
• Can showcase an exceptional portfolio and/or showreel
• Excellent motion graphics skills
• Expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects
• Proven experience in crafting creative content for digital and mobile-first marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, digital advertising, and on-site materials.
• A talent for grasping brand strategy and translating it into compelling digital communication
• Possess strong typographic, layout, and motion design skills
• Up to date with the latest design trends and in tune with the ever-evolving social landscape
• Self-motivated, proactive and up for a challenge
• Ideally background working for a luxury retail brand a big bonus
• Experience of Google Analytics and Data Studio is beneficial
