Production Assistant / Junior Editor

About us: Able is a young and exciting production studio, based in the heart of London’s West End. We specialise in the creation of video, audio and graphics for the music industry and beyond, including super-size TV and outdoor campaigns, music videos for the biggest artists, and engaging online and mobile content.
We are searching for a Production Assistant/Junior Editor to join our team to help us push this content even further. The successful candidate ideally has demonstrable experience in video production (or relevant fields), as well a keen interest in popular music and the music industry.
Role outline: Supporting and assisting the production and design teams, with a specific focus on video editing and asset delivery, as well as occasional audio production and other tasks.
Reporting to: Production team
Key tasks & responsibilities:
- Content delivery, including clearance and delivery of material to TV, VOD, radio and online platforms.
- Organisation and preparation of video, audio and image files.
- Assisting on film shoots - reporting to the line producer to help co-ordinate pre-production as well working alongside freelance crew on set.
- Data wrangling and backing up filmed rushes on set and in the office.
- Assisting the design team with video edits.
- Assisting with audio production, assembling edits, and mixing.
- File management and organisation of the studio’s file system and servers.
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the studio and general working environment.
Required experience/qualifications:
- 1-years experience in a video production role or relevant industry.
- Experience in video editing preferable.
- Proficiency or knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Creative Suite.
- Proficiency or knowledge of audio DAW software and relevant plug-ins.
