About the Role:
We are looking for a genuinely creative, and proactive designer who is ready to hit the ground running. Someone who thinks differently, imaginatively and most importantly, disruptively. We need someone who will enthusiastically get stuck in with the next exciting part of our story.
This role sits inside the small, ambitious design team. Therefore, it requires someone who is happy to turn their hand to anything thrown at them, it also requires someone who is always looking for the best way to work; Collaboratively, efficiently and creatively.
This is a predominantly a remote role, though you are expected to go into the office once a week. The office is in Waterlooville, Hampshire.
About You:
- 4+ years experience
- It goes without saying that you have solid Adobe Suite skills
- You really want to make your mark on a growing company and get stuck in
- Great attention to detail and a solid creative eye
- An enthusiastic team player who can work collaboratively in a small team while taking ownership of your own projects
- You have proven experience in bringing brands to life and creating visually exciting marketing collateral
- You have a proactive mindset as a natural problem solver and are ready to take on challenges, bring fresh ideas to the table - finding new and innovative ways of looking at delivering creative
- You have versatile creative abilities
- You have good knowledge or understanding of printing and proofing
- A social media whizz, you enjoy digital design and importantly, really understand social media and the power of marketing.
- A great eye for trends, contemporary design
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Product photography and art direction skills are a bonus.
Your Responsibilities:
This is a varied role; One minute you’ll be building inspiring sales decks for our fantastic customers, the next you’ll be imagining ideas for social media and creating exciting on-brand content. Another might see you coming up with new concepts for beauty products. You will apply creative solutions that align with Pelham’s brand aesthetics while always pushing for fresh, innovative designs.
- Pitch Decks: Create visually exciting decks for customers and the business with a cohesive approach across all collateral.
- Mockups: Create realistic 3D renders/mock-ups
- Collaboration: Contribute to the team’s creative process to maintain design integrity and elevate project outcomes. Work collaboratively with the wider creative team and cross-functional teams.
- Project Ownership: Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously, ensuring you are continuously trying to challenge your design capabilities, while projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
- Campaign Ideation and Execution: Create imaginative and effective graphic and motion design for marketing campaigns including assets for the website i.e banners
- Digital and Social Media: Being at the forefront of our digital presence, helping us captivate and engage our audience across various social media platforms; Creating and editing video content for our social channels. You will also be designing assets for social media including carousels, stills and reels or other digital campaigns as needed. Your design work will draw inspiration from the world of beauty and fashion, and you'll use this to craft media that resonates with our audience.
- Brand Consistency: Designing, and executing visual materials that communicate our brand messages, values, and identity. Ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to and maintaining consistent brand messaging.
- Innovation and Trends: Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and industry best practices to continuously improve the quality of design output.
