Job Description

We have a rare opening for an experienced Senior Designer. Our London-based studio is growing and is working across projects for clients like Apple, Burberry, Google, L’Oreal, Sky and VIZIO. We’re looking for someone at the top of their game regarding creative thinking, technical knowledge and driving the quality of our studio’s output.

It’s an exciting time at Found with projects covering a range of sectors and disciplines, so we’re looking forward to introducing new people, skills and ways of thinking to the team. We want someone to work alongside our Creative Leads and broader design team to keep pushing Found forwards. We run a supportive studio, with individual artist development high on the agenda. This role requires someone with a nurturing side, looking out for the design team, sharing knowledge and mentoring those you work with, and taking an active part in our external support schemes.

We are entirely open to where our new Senior Designer comes from and what their background and experience are.

This is a pivotal role within the design team that requires understanding and experience in delivering projects directly to clients and via agencies. You’ll bring energy daily, a drive to impart technical skills and problem-solving ideas and a portfolio demonstrating these qualities. Attention to detail, both creatively and technically, and taking pride in the accuracy of your process and output are also critical.

We need someone with a fantastic body of work, a hands-on approach and excellent communication skills (both spoken and written). You’ll be process-driven, excited by exploring new techniques and take responsibility in your stride. You can take direction and respect project briefs whilst bringing an edge of your own to the work. R&D is a core part of our practice, so you’ll also have the drive to try ideas and push yourself out of the norm but have the ability to do so within project bounds and client requirements.

From a technical point of view, we expect you need to be on the pulse, so an excellent technical and creative knowledge of Cinema4D, Houdini, Redshift and Octane is a must, alongside Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace applications. Working knowledge of Unreal Engine is a big plus point.

This role is full-time and requires you to be in our London office three days a week minimum (every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday). You might be someone already working in a small independent studio, wanting to move into a different size business or looking to work on projects with more profile. Someone looking to take the step up into a senior role with more responsibility and autonomy. Or you’re working in-house at a leading brand, looking to use that experience across multiple sectors.

Found is a growing, dynamic company with an open, warm and inclusive culture that strives to nurture and develop everyone in the team. We encourage curiosity and growth and offer every team member access to learning tools and motivational plans.

We offer a fair and competitive salary depending on experience, Vitality health insurance, 25 days of holiday per year plus Christmas shutdown and the ability to work flexibly. We are genuinely interested in you, so we run annual appraisals and personal development plans, monthly 121s, team away days and staff events. We are an open organisation that believes in fairness and equality, so everyone is part of our company bonus and pension schemes, and sabbaticals are offered after 5 & 10 years.

We also work with Ecologi to offset our business and teams’ carbon footprints, meaning every one of our staff members is climate positive.

These are exciting times - we’d love you to join us, so come and explore the possibilities and connect for a chat.
