Dagmar is a fast growing, high-end Scandinavian furniture brand headquartered in London with a well-established global customer base. This is an incredible opportunity to help build a brand and be part of our journey.
We are looking for a skilled graphic designer with experience in editiorial design. You will be responsible for bringing our brand to life, ensuring consistency in every project. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to design engaging content for a range of marketing materials.
This is a part-time position, with fluctuating workload so is best suited to a freelancer.
Location: The majority of this work can be undertaken remotely, but ideally you will be willing to work from our head office in Clerkenwell, London occasionally.
Responsibilities:
Your main responsibility will be to collaborate with the marketing team to design a range of marketing material including but not limited to print materials, online documents and event assets. We are a young brand and therefore are looking for someone who can develop our brand identity.
You will:
• Use your creativity and experience to develop and adapt design concepts from briefs.
• Develop, maintain and evolve a consistent visual identity for Dagmar across different platforms.
• Create and develop visually striking graphics for a range of marketing materials including print materials, digital brand documentation and event assets.
• Adapt creative assets for various formats and channels.
• Oversee the entire design process, from conceptualisation to final execution ensuring projects meet brand standards and deadlines.
Attributes:
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio, examples of editorial design.
• Be flexible and have the ability to pick up projects ad-hoc.
• Be creative and able to translate briefs and provide multiple options.
• Be proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
• Be an excellent communicator.
• Expert understanding of design principles across typography, colour theory, layout and composition, branding and identity.
• Experience of working with luxury interior brands (desirable)
