Junior UX/UI Designer

Pangaea, based in Clerkenwell and stemming from its Formula 1 origins, has provided 'Smart creative with commercial clarity' for over a decade. Competitive organisations come to us with a blank sheet of paper, enabling us to evolve briefs that span Identity, Product, and Service Design.

We are looking for someone to join our experienced team with a focus on the continual development of our clients digital products and services. You will be supporting our Digital Lead from day 1 working on active commercial products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct competitor and lateral research to guide design decisions
• Analyse and learn from data and user research to inform design choices
• Create wireframes, prototypes, sitemaps, and mood boards
• Design user-friendly, on-brand user interfaces
• Maintain design documentation like style guides and design systems
• Develop indicative icons, motion designs, and creative graphics
• Suggest and implement improvements in ongoing projects
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to collaborate and create

Required Skills and Experience:

• * Minimum of 1 year in a similar role
• * Proficiency in Figma, Sketch or XD (We use Figma)
• * Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
• * Willingness to learn and accept feedback
• * Passion for human-centric design 
• * Basic knowledge of graphic design construction and layout
• * Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines

Additional desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JS, WordPress, Webflow
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Hotjar, After Effects
