Production Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for someone who wants to combine their passion for photography with the excitement of fast moving and demanding production. Ideally this role is designed for someone that will have some existing experience working in a creative production capacity across both stills and motion. Natural charm is a must with this role, as is a firm organisational style to push your projects through to completion. You will liaise with the senior production team directly and be a great communicator, making points clearly and succinctly as well as taking direction and acting on it with speed and clarity. You will support production for both At Trayler & AT RARE.
Production:
• Under the supervision of Head of Production, you will assist on information gathering for production estimates, as well as preparing job sheets, job closing and subsequent billing.
• Liaising with external Producers/Agencies and Artists on all production related information, including but not limited to: optioning crew, models, hair/make up for shoots and negotiating with vendors, studios, catering, travel agencies, hotels, model agents and location scouts.
• Preparing call sheets and transport schedules.
• Assisting with the overall coordination of photo shoots and ensuring the proper organization of all vendors and sub-contractors.
Day-to-Day Job Duties:
• Help improve the internal team’s office based experience.
• Be proactive and helpful
• Be the first to welcome any visitors to the office and ensure their comfort
• Represent our agency in the best possible way at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Excellent telephone manner and the ability to communicate effectively across all verbal and written communications.
• Dynamic and ambitious personality.
• Well organized and good at prioritizing tasks
• Adaptable and willing approach to work with the ability to keep calm during times of pressure.
