Job Description
Trends&Culture is looking for a Mid-Weight Art Director with experience in the luxury and fashion industries to deliver high-quality creative work for clients alongside a network of trusted collaborators.
As the Middle-Weight Art Director within our Creative Team, you will be working alongside the Senior Creatives, to support on creative initiatives across a range of channels, including digital, social, and print. You will work closely with our Strategy and Account teams to ensure that all creative work is on brand and on brief, while pushing the boundaries to create a memorable creative output.
Responsibilities
- Big Idea Concepting: Create concepts for engaging, beautiful and effective big ideas for creative, content, communications and activations across all brand and media channels. Work alongside a cross-discipline team in delivering the best response to the Client Brief and consistently deliver in-depth understanding of how to develop creative ideas rooted in the brand world.
- Communication of Strategy & Creative Direction: Working closely with the Creative Director, Senior Creatives and Strategists to visually conceptualise brand campaigns. Able to comfortably refine and sharpen visual output based on internal and client feedback.
- Hands-On Production: Being involved in all stages of production, from concept, research, pre-production, art direction and post-production, along with the opportunity to be on-site at shoots.
- Client Collaboration & Succinct Presentation: Work closely with a portfolio of Trends&Culture clients, partner with their senior C-Level stakeholders and ensure buy-in into the creative vision. Deliver convincing and succinct presentations internally and to stakeholders, capturing and addressing the brief and feedback.
- Collaborative Working: Work closely alongside colleagues at Trends&Culture and third parties towards delivering impactful creative outputs and ensuring that work is to the highest quality.
- Thought Leadership & Creative Inspiration: Fully immersed in contemporary Creative work, modern-day culture, and potential collaborators. Inspires and motivates the wider team with creative, trend, cultural, art direction and design knowledge. Offer informed opinions and specialist knowledge of industry collaborators and encourage the use of new creative ideas, channels, and original approaches.
Prerequisites
- Experience of high-quality creative executions across branding, content, campaigns, and broader channels.
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in similar role with an agency or a fashion or luxury brand.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Solid portfolio demonstrating execution of defining brand worlds across brand identities, innovative campaigns, and digital executions.
- Strong understanding of contemporary culture, strategy, brand worlds and established and emerging social channels.
