Job Description

We are looking for a New Projects & Partnerships Manager to join our amazing team.

This is a business development role that focuses on seeking out new clients, building new relationships and helping us to secure new projects.

In time you will become one of the faces of the business and must have a genuine ambition to win new work and play your part in building the reputation of the company.

You will have/be:

  • A highly-motivated and tenacious person who is able to spot where the best new opportunities lie.
  • A solid background and success in a similar business development role.
  • A well-developed presentation style and the confidence to communicate our offering to new clients.
  • Experience working in the creative sector - ideally in advertising, branding or motion.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, with a real attention to detail.
  • An enthusiasm and passion for great design, an interest in the arts as well as commercial creative work.
  • A passion for helping our clients realise their business and marketing ambitions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting research on industries, clients and prospects - including competitor analysis.
  • Reaching out to brands and agencies with a view to setting up introductions.
  • Working closely with Company Directors and Head of Marketing to develop our business and relationship development strategy.
  • Bring compelling new points of view/ideas on how to shape/improve the new business engine and drive these improvements forward.
  • Manage, maintain and track the new business contacts database.
  • Co-ordinating all new business meetings and making sure CD/EP's are briefed and prepped.
  • Develop top-notch credentials and assist on management and development of pitches alongside the Exec Producers.
  • Make and lead presentations to potential new clients (independently or with Head of Marketing & EP's).
  • Attending events with our team and on our behalf, networking and striking up new friendships with future client partners - in the UK, Europe and occasionally further afield.

About weareseventeen: we are a creative and production partner to both brands and agencies worldwide - known for crafting award-winning work whilst championing decency and putting people first in a demanding industry.

We prioritise experimentation and protecting time between projects to explore new techniques and ideas and value a sense of curiosity and openness in everyone we work with.

The role is full-time 4.5 days per week (we finish at 1pm every Friday). We work together from the studio 2 days per week and we encourage a combination of home and studio-based days.
