Key day-to-day roles:

  • Leading high-value projects - Collaborating with our top-tier clients to achieve their goals across branding, websites, video, and presentations. Confidently guiding a client through the brand strategy and identity process, from strategy and research, to concept, design, and activation. Becoming an expert in our services, playing an active role in meetings, listening to our client requirements and creating solutions that drive value for their business. You will support the sales team in scoping the resources required for projects. Taking a creative approach to client challenges, understanding their brief, learning about their business, and delivering work that exceeds expectations.

  • Growing our design team - Managing and growing our in-house design team working across branding, websites, animation, and presentations. Creating process and structure for the team to enable us to scale our team further. Clearly understanding a client's brief and translating the goals into achievable tasks for creatives of all levels. Taking on feedback, and relaying it sensitively but directly. Guiding, reviewing, and inspiring creatives to deliver work on time and to the highest standards. You will be a motivational mentor, keeping up to date with industry knowledge, sharing new tools, technology, and inspiration to improve our work.

We work with our clients from the beginning of their journey, starting from branding that transforms into websites and is supported by animations and editorial content. Therefore, the ability to be adaptable and learn fast is necessary. You will drive creative excellence from concept to execution, leading a team of creatives, alongside the CCO and other project managers. We run our team with Productive.io, Figma, Adobe, Notion, and Slack.

Required:

  • A creative senior designer with a keen eye for detail, applying design to branding, digital, and video
  • Experience leading / managing designers
  • Able to take a client through an in-depth brand identity process
  • Experience in designing/illustrating for animation, and understanding of the animation process
  • Understanding of design for a digital environment, applying branding to website experiences
  • Able to simplify complex information through thoughtful design in editorial and presentation form
  • Native or Professional English is a must. All company communication is in English
  • Confident in using the Adobe Suite and Figma
  • Able to balance time across multiple projects, working in a fast-growth environment
  • Work with minimal supervision, taking responsibility for your work and being able to prioritise projects in an organised manner, managing expectations across teams
  • Hybrid, able to be based in London office 3 days per week, must be able to work in UK time zones

Preferred/Bonus Skills:

  • Experience & knowledge in SaaS, advertising or technology
  • Experience with UX/UI/product design
  • Experience using Google Workspace and online project management software

Salary:

£50k - £60k (based on experience, with yearly reviews)

If you got hired, what does it look like?

Month 1: Meeting our teams, learning our processes and onboarding to our tools. Getting to work on some initial projects for our clients. Regular feedback from the CCO, defining strengths / areas for personal development.

Month 2: Check in with the CEO and have your first 1:1s with the CCO to create a plan of what you will be learning and working on for the next couple of months. Providing feedback to the designers on your team and starting to find opportunities for improvements.

Month 3-6: Leading the design team fully, working on our highest-value projects and reviewing all work to ensure quality output. Taking client requirements and advising on the best project approach. Finding opportunities for us to improve our offering.

Month 6-12: A core part of our team, growing the number of designers and leading strategy for our creative department. Mentoring juniors on the team while growing your people management skills. Managing multiple high-value projects while supporting the wider business strategy.
